Portals 100/10
This album hasn’t come out fully, but the single song “DEATH” is amazing! I love Melanie Martinez and I am so happy that they are back and releasing new music. From the snippets and the new song, I can tell that the entire album is going to be the best thing this year. I love her new style of a morphed pink alien-like creature and I feel like having a new style fits them a lot and is cool to have. After listening to it all, it is still the same, if not even better. Light shower is the best song ever along with every single thing that she creates. They’re all amazing.
The Jaws of Life 10/10
This album is awesome, the songs, emotions, and overall everything is just amazing. My favorite song is resilience because it makes me feel better about myself and shows that things do and can get better over some time, some can heal faster than others and thats okay. The other sangs are awesome too and I love all the vibes that Pierce the Veil had given out in this album.
Attack On Titan 100/10
This is the greatest show ever. The characters, the plot, the animation style, everything is top tier. I love this show and the meaning it brings which I think is love and sacrifice. From the start of the show we see people being sacrificed so they can save someone else they love. The foreshadowing in this show is also the greatest thing ever, since it tells what happens at the end in the beginning. The manga is also a 10/10 since it is the same thing but has more details in the story and the show and manga has made me cry every time.
Demon Slayer 9/10
This show is a great one. My gorgeous, love of my life, wife, and favorite character of all time Mitsuri Kanroji is from this show. I rated it a 9/10 because Mitsuri isn’t in it every second and it would make it better if she was. Other then the most perfect character being in the show, the plot id really good along with the animation and other characters. It has made me cry but only because of the ending of the manga.
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World 8.5/10
This movie is one of my favorite of all time. I really like the comic book/ video game style is has and the characters are awesome. Ramona Flowers definitely deserves better and Scott kind of sucks for being a 23 year old and dating a 17 year old and then cheating on her! But the moral of the story and the plot and characters are really cool in this one.
Girl In Pieces 8/10
Even though I just started this book, its one that I feel like I can relate to in some way and I actually want to read. Its about a girl who had a bad life and was sent to a mental hospital. Nothing extravagant like those has happened to me but I do have similar experiences to her and I feel like I understand this character well.
Tomie 9/10
Tomie took me a long time to read but it is a really good book. The drawings are perfect and I love the main character. Any book by Junji Ito is a good book, but this one is my favorite. It might be overrated to some but I do like the story behind each cha[ter and the idea of a person being able to regenerate any part of their body and making people who fall in love with her want to kill her.
No Longer Human (novel) 7/10
This book was really confusing at first and it took me a long time to finish reading. I really liked this book and how it talks about the different struggles in the authors life and how it is based off of real experiences he has experienced before. This book was originally written in Japanese, but after it was translated, I think it still has the same meaning and feels the same.
No Longer Human (manga) 9/10
This book is the same as the one above, but has more drawing in it. I love anything Junji Ito so I could be biased but I like this one better than the novel. I think adding pictures and bringing in more details about other people around the main character and beig about to actually see what was happening made this better. The meaning and storyline is the exact same as the novel above, but I would recommend this one more.
